It's Back to Work We Go

We did have a wonderful time, despite the fact that we made our connection in Chicago on the way down. And our luggage did not...until 3 days later.

American Airlines sux.

But the cruise line did everything possible to assist us, and we managed to have fun anyway....though buying replacement swimsuits on a cruise ship is a wee bit expensive. Can you say filing a claim with the airline for reimbursement? I sure as hell can.

I can also say if you're in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle & have a chance to go ice skating, you should definitely do it.

So I did. Photos to follow when I get time.

"Ice Skating in the Middle of the Bermuda Triangle" - That has to be book material, or at least the chorus of a country & western song (probably wouldn't translate to hip-hop so well).

Tell us about your cruise...what line? Where did you cruise from? Where did you go exactly?

I love cruising -- best vacation.

Apparently American has taken a beating of late. What a shame. They used to be so great. Maybe their downfall was laying my dad off.

Glad the trip was fun. I. want. pictures.

LOL it sure does Kenneth now that you mention it. I've been saying for a while now that my co-worker & I should write a book about our job. That'd be a perfect title for it too.

Sandi, we left Port Canaveral on Royal Caribbean, went to the Bahamas, Virgin Islands & St. Maarten. One of the best vacations we've ever had...even with the whole no luggage thing.

Other than the luggage, our flights went reasonable smoothly Goddess. On-time the entire trip. I'll post photos as soon as I get time to sort through them. You know how Mike is, he took about a million. I'm hoping next week I'll be able to.

Work has been insane since I got back, co-worker had a family emergency so not only am I catching up from vacation I'm also covering for her as well. 12 hr. days & 15 minute lunches the entire week so far. I'm soooo ready for a 3 day weekend!
