Begin Whine

WildChild is spending a few weeks with us, and thanks to a medication change, is mostly behaving like a normal 7 yr. old. In a rare instance of moderate misbehavior yesterday, he was being punished by his dad by being sent to bed early. I was in his room putting away laundry, and he came in & began to whine about his punishment to me.

"Hey" I said "you're whining to the wrong person. I'm not the one who said you had to go to bed early."

Instant normal voice "Then who should I whine to?" he asked.

"That would be your dad" I replied.

"Oh ok, thanks Ma!" He left to find his dad, and I heard the whining begin again. "Daaad, I don't wanna go to bed early" [/whine]

It's a good thing they're still cute at that age.
