Oooo, Shiny!
So I'm sitting here reading the news online this morning at the ungodly hour of 4 a.m. when I hear a strange noise. Mr. Kitty, who had been comfortably curled up between me & the laptop, totally freaked out. I heard it again...the distinct noise of someone trying to open the (locked) back door. Yikes!
I jumped up & turned on the kitchen light, reasoning that would scare them away. The noise stopped, but I got Sassy anyway & put her out on the run, which is right by the back door. But strangely she didn't alert on any scent. And the motion-activated outdoor light by the back door hadn't come on.
Hmmm. Strange. I brought Sassy back in & sat back down at the laptop. 5 minutes later I hear the noise again. I'm like WTH? I got up & started into the utility room where the back door is located and...
.....out strolls Vato Kitty, looking at me all like What? Little bastard! Apparently the doorknob is his new kewl toy. Which is funny b/c Vato Kitty hateses the outside. Outside is entirely too scary for Vato Kitty, and there is nothing on God's green earth that can convince him otherwise. If he knew what that doorknob did, he wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.
But I'm sure his thought process was something like OOOO, shiny! And it rattles!!!! Awesome!!! Do again!!
Silly kitty.
