Are We There Yet?
I cannot wait until this election is over. Record early voting here means full-all-day courthouse parking lot. Which makes for a real PITA for those of us who work there.
Frankly at this point I don't even care much who wins. Either way we're going to be paying more taxes. Not to mention people who thinks it's plenty ok fine their candidate is BFF with a Weather Underground terrorist but omg the other candidate bought new clothes for the campaign trail.
Seriously, the world is breeding bigger and better idiots.
Scary.

The area where I live is too sparsely populated for natural gas companies to lay residential pipelines and propane prices are expected to soar as winter sets in, so, many of us will soon be too cold to wonder about what the politicians are doing, or even who they are (there are no local trees to burn and gasoline is too expensive to drive several hundred miles to the nearest forest for firewood.)I just hope that none of them decide we need more of their help.

Similar problem down home, but at least there's plenty of trees...assuming you can afford the gas to run the chainsaw and for the truck to haul it. Dad does this pre-pay thing, buys what propane he thinks he'll need for the winter at the summer prices. Usually saves him some money.
If the government shows up saying we're here to help you, best thing to do is grab your money & run...before they do.

I'm still hoping for my fair share of candy on Halloween, even though I'm not trick or treating.
