Weird
This guy just killed himself at the 6th St. Fayetteville Walmart.
I've always meant to read his book. Sounded like he had an interesting life.
Maybe a little too interesting.

A couple of years ago you suggested the book Architecture of the Arkansas Ozarks and I ended up reading all of the books I could find by that author (some were great, some were very odd.) None of those books described an event like this one, but they sometimes conveyed a sense of lingering hopelessness that left me with the same feeling.
