We still have electricity & the interwebs so we're fine. Our office is closed so I'm watching old movies to my heart's content. Great dialogue from an otherwise not-so-good movie today:
"What do you think about Mr. Kafka?"
"I'm indifferent."
Took me a while to get that one.
The ice storm continues. We still have power so far, though it's blinked a time or two. There's about 1/2 or so of ice, and it's sleeting pretty good now.
Good day to stay home with a book.
So far only bad enough to get sent home from work early. Good enough for me!
I shuffled half-awake into the kitchen the other morning at my usual 4 a.m. Sassy & Mr. Kitty were there waiting for me. "Well good morning Mr. Kitty" I mumbled.
Sassy rumbled "Rell-lo!"
Mr. Kitten meowed "Maaa-Ma!"
Confused I looked around wondering if I had inadvertantly stumbled in to the Dr. Doolittle Alternate Universe. "Very funny guys" I finally said.
I swear they were both laughing at me.
